Noxubee County High School
This
new facility, encompassing a new high school and football stadium, is located on Hwy 45 north of Macon. The structures contain
100,000 square feet and will initially accommodate 650 students with a growth capacity of up to 900 students. Included in
the plans are six labs, two of which are lecture/demonstration labs, and four "hands-on" labs.
Specialized areas include
media and computer centers, band and choral halls, home economics facilities, and a gymnasium. One unique feature is the double-fronted
stage. One side faces the cafeteria and the other side faces the auditorium.
The new football stadium and athletic
fieldhouse is located behind the new high school.
